Revised Range Rules
Due to our increased membership several new range rules will be adopted to insure that we all can continue to enjoy our club. These rule changes are effective immediately.
- If all 6 booths are being used and another member is waiting to shoot, please limit your shooting time to a half hour. That seems to be a logical amount of time for a member to wait. This is in effect in many clubs. Simply be courteous to fellow members.
- Booth one (extreme left) will be designated for instruction, however if no one is being trained it is open to all. Be sure to be familiar with and follow all range rules, they are for your safety and shooting pleasure.
Revised Training Rules for Instructors
Please note the following rules are effective immediately.
- All instructors must be registered with the club with up to date credentials prior to training.
- Classes for LTC and FID will now be limited to 3 hours. The only course approved for club use is a basic pistol or FID course. All regular range rules will apply.
- Classes for LTC or FID will have no more than 4 students.
- All classes must be posted an least 3 days in advance.
- All class requests must be emailed to richardstriano@yahoo.com 3 days in advance.
- Use of upstairs hall may be requested, however, its use will be determined by the number and size of classes on that day.
- Names, email and phone numbers of all students trained at the WSC must be submitted, along with appropriate fees in the upstairs mail box, outside the office on the day of training.
- Booth #1 (extreme left ) is being designated for training. Training will be posted on the booth. It may be used if no training is being done. If you are training and it is being used politely tell the person using it that it is designated for training and they must vacate.
Please be courteous to other members
Several awkward situations have arisen lately between club officers/executive board members and other members. Please understand that all of the club officers are working for you and spend a lot of time volunteering to run your club. No one on the executive board is being paid or gets any other perks. Board members all pay dues the same as everyone else. If a member would like to express an opinion or disagreement with an officer or member of the board, please do so in a proper manner and in an appropriate place. Your opinions are important to us and the board always welcomes comments and ideas from members. Rudeness will absolutely not be tolerated and will be dealt with immediately. Thanks for your cooperation in this manner.
