Weymouth Sportsmen's Club was founded in 1929 on the cornerstone of wildlife conservation by outdoorsmen interested in protecting the sport and the life which they loved.





The Weymouth Sportsmen's Club, established in 1929, is a non-profit organization promoting legitimate sport with handguns, 22 rifles, bows, and other field sports, and supports propagation and conservation of fish and wildlife.

The Junior Rifle Advanced Program

This course teaches firearm safety and the fundamentals of competitive small bore shooting. The Junior Rifle Advanced Program meets Friday Evenings from 6:45-8:15pm during the Fall and into the Spring. To qualify for the program the students must take a basic rifle training class.

Interested in Archery and have no place to shoot

JOAD practice sessions are held on Tuesday, starting at 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm, except the 1st Tuesday of each month. that is dedicated to Excutive Board Meeting (7pm) and General Membership meeting (8pm)

Check out our JOAD program for ages 9-20. Learn new skills and eventually compete among your peers. Arrive with your parent(s) and  bring a friend or two. Dave Griffith, is a certified level 2 archery instructor and directs the program.

Junior Program start to be announced – Watch the newsletters

Junior program will start up again this fall – time and date TBA

Our juniors learn gun safety first, rifle, handgun, gun cleaning, archery and fishing. We begin each meeting with a shooting safety discussion and include portions of the "Eddie Eagle" and "refuse to be a victim" NRA program.

Firearms Safety Course

Interested in obtaining a firearms license?

WSC has many NRA/Mass State Police certified instructors. As a result it is possible to arrange a safety class that will fit into your busy schedule. Class includes live fire in the range. To arrange a time for your safety course and for more info call Dick Striano at 781-264-2884 or email richardstriano@yahoo.com.
